You may find that you want to send a user via an affiliate link to a deep link page within the merchant site rather than directing them to a homepage link. The less clicks there are for a user to go through, the higher your conversion will be. Here is a quick guide to finding and using the deep link builder.
1. Log in to your Tradedoubler Account
2. Search for the relevant program
3. Click on Links
4. Click Deeplink info takes you to this page
5. Add the url you want to target and generate the code.
Programmes such as Protectyourbubble have a number of specific landing pages for different types of products so rather than sending people to a home or section page you can now send them direct to the specific product page which cuts down on number of clicks so will improve conversion.
